Now is the time to count on your Community Bank
11-23-11

With all of the recent media exposure bashing the big banks, the public response has been huge. This social financial uprising is encouraging bank customers to remove their money from the mega banks and place them in community banks. The movement goes way beyond consisting of a few thousand angry consumers. An entire organized effort has established an online presence and touted Saturday, November 5th as Bank Transfer Day.

Let’s face it, these tough economic times have us all tightening our belts, cutting corners and trying to get the most for our hard-earned dollars. Now more than ever, consumers need to count on their financial institution for guidance and support, not more fees!

As the protest reigns, the big banks implementing these fees are back-peddling, and fast.
Is it too little, too late? Either way, it’s time that consumers take a hard look at their financial status, and talk to their trusted bank advisor to make decisions that are right for them.
